Resource Directory

MO-FEAT produces a Statewide Autism Resource Directory that lists the names and contact information for providers of many different services. The directory is broken down by topic and region of the state. Resources in the directory are family-referred. This means that a family member referred the resource or provider to us because it was helpful to their family.

All families and people with autism spectrum disorders are different from each other. One family may like a provider, while another does not. It is very important for you to interview providers on your own to make sure that their approach, information, and skills are a good match for you and your loved one. While consistency of care is an important part of success, if a provider does not match your needs, you may wish to explore other options.

This Directory and its contents may only be reprinted or photocopied with the permission of MO-FEAT. Please do not use the contents for other directories without contacting us first, as updates to the information may not be online yet.

Can I receive a printed copy of the directory?

Yes. Call or email our office and we will send you the directory. We will need your mailing address.

Is there a charge to get a copy of the directory?

No. We are currently able to offer directories and other publications at no charge to families. However, we very much appreciate donations to cover the costs of the directory. We do not receive state funding for the directory as we want to maintain a family-referred directory and want to be able to include a range resources. Not accepting state funds also enables us to quickly update the directory without waiting for state agency approvals.

Any donation- large or small- is helpful to us. Visit our Donations page today! You can also send a check made out to MO-FEAT. We are a 501c3 non-profit and donations are tax-deductible.

I can't get the directory file to open.

Make sure you have the latest version…..

When I click on the directory, it says the link is broken.

The link does work. You will receive this message if you do not have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. If all else fails, try opening the directory from a newer computer.

I don't see my favorite resource (or provider) listed. What do I do?

Just call or email us with the name and contact information for the resource or provider. We will write a brief description of what they provide. If there is something special about this resource that would be useful for families to know, tell us. For example, maybe the provider works especially well with teenagers or is trained in a particular method.

I am a provider. How can I be listed?

Directory entries are family-referred. Please have a family contact us with your information and we will include it in our next printed edition or online update.

Does the directory include resources for places that sell autism-related materials?

Currently, the directory does not include product resources. It is important to evaluate products and materials carefully before purchasing, especially if they claim to have surprising results or are new to the market. Talking with other families can be helpful in deciding whether something is worth investing in. You may want to ask the company for data or research on the product.
